Hi lovelies ;D

This might be useful if you're suffering from a flu/sore throat/hoarseness/inflammation:

-Avoid tea, coffee, cream (yes, ice-cream goes in here as well), and alcohol (if you actually drink the stuff) before singing as these can have a dehydrating effect.

-Take lots of vitamin c, be it fruits, vegetables or tablets as they aid your body's natural defenses. hot lemon and honey works too.

-Avoid severe, violent coughing as it can injure the vocal folds. try cough syrup or lozenges.

-Do not attempt to sing and avoid talking until all medication is finished to allow the inflammation an opportunity to reduce.

-Rest and drink lots of water.

MUSICAL EVENING is coming up so you had better take care of your instrument!
May I also remind you that all your scores should be memorized by now.

Choir starts at 0800 tomorrow and ends at 1730 with a 2 and a 1/2 hour break in between. And of course, we expect nothing but punctuality from all of you (:
