Hi All. Exams are over. So please take note of the following.

EXTRA CHOIR PRACTICES
Please take note that we will be having the following extra practices on Friday (9/5) from 2 - 5pm and Saturday (10/5) from 2 - 5.30pm. As far as I know, Ms Ong will not be coming on the Friday practice and it will probably be a revision practice. So please please please take out your scores to look at them. I hope all of you are at least 80% familiarized with all your songs now. The Saturday practice will be a combined practice with the adult choir, Wild Empire. Please look below for more information.

DETAILS FOR SATURDAY (10/5) CHOIR PRACTICE
This is a very important practice as it makes up 1/3 of our combined practice with the other choirs. So none of you are encouraged to miss it at all. We will need a formal parent's letter with an extremely valid reason or an MC if you do not come for this practice.

And I know its Mother's Day on Saturday, but it doesnt give any of you any excuse to not be there. You will need to make arrangements to your schedule and accommodate with the time you have. As far as I know, I will need all of you to be in school by 1.30pm on Saturday for warm-ups.

Combine Practice on 10 May 2pm @ Crescent Girls' School (357,
Tanglin Road)

200 - 230 - Concert position & Sound Balancing for 4-8 part voices
230 - 300 - Amazing Grace (combine)
300 - 330 - Amazing Grace (sectionals - to be led by all SLs n Music
Comm)
330 - 400 - hope faith life love (sectionals)
400 - 500 - hope faith life love, Amazing Grace (combine)
500 - 530 - DEBRIEF on tickets, program sheets, t-shrits etc...

Each choir please hold your own warm ups and be at CRESCENT GIRLS'
SCHOOL before 2pm.
I want to start punctually so we can end on time.

We will end later than 530pm if we do not meet the target as set.

THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS FROM MS ONG:
As there will be about 120 singers' voices vs mine (alone), I will appreciate if leaders will help to calm people down(that means, ppl, u need to stop talking and only talk when necessary...) and alert your group to pay attention and take notes as and when needed so we will have an efficient and effective practice.
THERE ARE ONLY 3 combine practices before we go on stage so let's make every practice better than before.

UPDATES TO CHOIR NAMELIST
Thanks to all who reminded me on missing members in the list. I have already updated the list. Haha. Check to see if its right now. If anyone is still missing from any section, please tag on the board to tell me.

CHOIR CONCERTS
Calling out to people who are interested in going for SAJC Choir concert and TJC choir concert. The details are in the previous posts. The latest note from Mr Tay is that he hopes to see more of us there on the SAJC concert day. And I just realised that Germaine and Eunice are from TJC choir and really hope that we can go see them perform too. People who are interested but still havent ordered tickets, please please tell your temporary SLs asap. You are extremely strongly encouraged to go for the concerts.

And for the guys, if you all want tickets from SAJC concert, I think you can directly order from Mr Tay la. Haha. We will get information about our concert tickets (and our concert title) by this week. If any of you all are interested in going, you can place orders once we've started excessively advertising on our blog. Haha.

Ok. That's all for today. How have your exams been? If any of you screwed too many papers, remember to bring screwdriver into the exam hall for the next exam. Heh.
